Conor Benn Confirms Eubank Jr. Rematch: "Contracts Are Already Signed"

Published on 7 May 2025 at 06:41

Conor Benn has confirmed that a rematch with Chris Eubank Jr. is officially on the cards for later this year. Appearing on Ariel & Ade Live on DAZN Boxing, Benn stated, I believe the contracts are already signed,” strongly suggesting that both fighters have agreed to a second showdown in 2025.

The pair first met on April 26, 2025, at Tottenham Hotspur Stadium, where Eubank Jr. secured a unanimous decision win after 12 hard-fought rounds. All three judges scored the fight 116-112 in favour of Eubank, who outboxed Benn down the stretch. Post-fight, Eubank reportedly underwent surgery for a cut above his eye and was treated for dehydration — highlighting the physical toll of the contest on both men.

Promoter Eddie Hearn has previously stated that the rematch was built into the original two-fight deal, making this follow-up a contractual obligation rather than a surprise. While the official date is still under wraps, September 2025 has been mentioned as a potential target for the bout.
