Jermall Charlo (34-0, 23 KOs) made an emphatic statement in his comeback fight Saturday night at the Michelob Ultra Arena in Las Vegas, securing a sixth-round technical knockout over seasoned journeyman Thomas LaManna (39-6-1, 18 KOs) in the super middleweight division.
Charlo controlled the fight from the opening bell, using sharp jabs and powerful right hands to keep LaManna on the defensive. The intensity ramped up in the third round when Charlo sent LaManna to the canvas with a precise punch to the side of the head.

As the bout progressed, Charlo continued his relentless assault, flooring LaManna twice more in rounds four and five with punishing right hands. The challenger visibly struggled to stay steady, and by the end of round five, LaManna’s legs appeared weak, signaling trouble ahead.
With the fight resuming for the sixth round, the ringside doctor intervened and advised the referee to halt the contest, handing Charlo a dominant TKO victory in his tune-up match.
This win reinforces Charlo’s reputation as one of the premier forces in the 168-pound division as he gears up for bigger challenges ahead.
